The Cafe East Server/Bartender provides exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests in a casual, upscale golf bistro environment. This role combines traditional serving and bartending duties, ensuring prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service in the cafe, bar, and patio areas. The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, and passionate about hospitality and golf club culture.

Job Responsibilities:

Service & Guest Experience Greet members and guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere. Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and resorts standards. Anticipate guests' needs and ensure satisfaction throughout their visit. Handle guests' tabs, payments, and POS transactions with accuracy. Bar & Cafe Operations Set up, maintain, and close the bar and dining areas according to opening/closing procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar, cafe tables, and service areas. Restock supplies, including beverages, garnishes, glassware, and condiments. Ensure compliance with all liquor service laws and safety regulations. Assist with special events, golf tournaments, and banquets as needed. Teamwork & Communication Collaborate with kitchen and golf operations staff to ensure smooth service. Communicate effectively about member preferences, special requests, and service issues. Support other team members during busy periods and maintain a positive work environmen

Job Requirements:

Previous serving and/or bartending experience preferred (hospitality or golf club experience a plus). Smart Serve / TIPS or equivalent alcohol service certification required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol. Flexible schedule with availability for weekends, holidays, and golf events.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Lift and carry up to 25-30 lbs. Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. As a Cafe East employee, you will have the opportunity to work on as a beverage cart attendant during golf season and special events, as well as a server for our Cafe West.
