Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. Your ability to upsell menu items and maintain a positive atmosphere will be key to your success in this role. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus Take food and beverage orders accurately using Toast POS systems Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for payments and change Assist with guest relations by providing information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently Excellent communication skills for effective guest interaction Experience in bussing or host/host roles is beneficial Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining individual accountability Join our team where your skills will be valued, and you can grow within the hospitality industry!
