Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fine Dining Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of fine dining service standards. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the high standards of our establishment. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor. Present menus, provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage offerings, and make recommendations based on guest preferences. Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and beverages in accordance with fine dining protocols, ensuring presentation is impeccable. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience while maximizing sales opportunities. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain communication regarding any changes or special requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Assist with training new staff members on service standards and restaurant procedures as needed. Requirements Proven experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately; cash handling experience is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
