Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with recommendations to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems (Toast Tabs) , ensuring timely delivery Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments using POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Upsell menu items such as specialty drinks or desserts to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery for a seamless dining experience Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing bills confidently Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and adhering to food safety standards is essential Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences in a lively setting!
