Job Summary:

MUST pass a background check. We are seeking a RELIABLE, fun, and professional server to join our team at Cornelia's Restaurant in Porters Neck.

THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION

(2-3 shifts a week). As a server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. If you have a passion for the food industry, excellent guest relations skills, and enjoy working in a team environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Present menus and provide detailed information about our food and beverage offerings
• Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
• Relay special orders or allergies to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of meals
• Serve food and beverages to guests with precision and attention to detail
• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or issues
• Process payments using POS systems
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized dining and serving area
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper food handling techniques

Qualifications:

• Experience in high volume, upscale casual or fine dining and wine bottle service
• Strong math skills for handling payments and making change
• Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems is a plus
• Basic knowledge of culinary terms and menu items is beneficial
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy trays when necessary
