Duties Set up banquet rooms with tables, linens, glassware, and utensils to prepare for upcoming events Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, including wine and specialty drinks Assist with food handling, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in service areas Buss tables efficiently by clearing dishes and resetting spaces between courses or events Provide attentive guest services by addressing needs, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for beverage and food orders accurately Support catering staff with setup, serving, and breakdown of event spaces as needed Experience Previous food service experience in a banquet, catering, or fine dining setting is highly preferred Knowledge of beverage service, wine pairing, and drink presentation enhances guest interactions Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential Experience with POS systems and basic math skills for order processing and billing Strong guest relations skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service excellence Culinary or hospitality training is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to deliver outstanding guest experiences while honing their skills in the food industry.
