Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with a friendly attitude. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience. Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables after guests depart. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Assist with cash handling, basic math calculations for checks, and processing payments accurately. Experience Previous experience as a Server in fine dining or upscale restaurants is preferred. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy shifts. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and overall kitchen operations is beneficial.
