Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Host/Server, where your energy and hospitality skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, managing reservations, seating guests efficiently, and providing exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will ensure smooth operations from greeting guests to delivering outstanding food and beverage service. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation bookings using restaurant table management systems such as Toast POS. Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and reduce wait times, ensuring a seamless flow of guests. Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff, and process transactions through POS systems. Provide attentive guest services by answering questions about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies with clear communication and friendly phone etiquette. Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards. Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to enhance overall guest satisfaction. Support team members during busy periods by assisting with food service duties when needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork. Qualifications Prior experience as a host/hostess or server in a restaurant setting is highly preferred, but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently via phone and in person. Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software and POS systems such as Toast POS. Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and cash management accurately. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently. Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure a safe dining environment. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus but not required. Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional guest services with a friendly, energetic attitude.
