Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times Take reservations using OpenTable or similar reservation management systems Provide menu recommendations, including wine and spirits suggestions, to enhance guest experience Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell food, beverages, and specials to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction Serve food and beverages with professionalism, including cocktail and drink service, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Clear tables promptly and assist with bussing to maintain a clean and inviting environment Handle guest inquiries courteously, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations to encourage repeat visits Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; fine dining is a plus Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting Join us if you're passionate about hospitality and eager to deliver exceptional guest experiences!
