Job Description
Back Server / Support Staff - Tinos Kitchen + Bar Tinos Kitchen + Bar is looking for dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Back Servers to join our Front of House team. Our Back Servers are an important part of the guest experience and work closely with our Servers, Bartenders, Hosts, and Kitchen team to keep service running smoothly. We are looking for individuals who are attentive, hardworking, and willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain restaurant experience, work in a fast-paced environment, and potentially grow into additional Front of House positions. What You'll Do Work alongside Servers to provide attentive and efficient service to our guests Assist with setting and preparing tables before and during service Maintain water service and other table needs throughout the guest experience Clear and reset tables quickly and properly Run food and assist with delivering items to guests Remove used plates, glassware, and silverware throughout service Maintain clean and organized dining room and service areas Restock glassware, silverware, linens, and other Front of House supplies Assist Servers and Bartenders with side work and service needs Communicate with Servers and other team members to ensure guest needs are addressed Help maintain the cleanliness and overall presentation of the restaurant Complete assigned opening, running, and closing side work Assist in other areas of the restaurant when needed What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Positive attitude and strong work ethic Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment Strong attention to detail Comfortable interacting professionally with guests Able to follow direction and communicate effectively with coworkers and managers Ability to remain organized and attentive during busy service periods Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right candidates Availability We are looking for candidates with evening and weekend availability. Flexible availability is preferred, particularly during our busiest service periods. Compensation Competitive hourly wage plus tips/tip-out. Back Servers are part of our service team and have the opportunity to earn additional compensation through tips based on our restaurant's tip-out structure.
