Seasonal, Full Time and Part Time, Non-Exempt Position Overview As a Food Runner, you are the critical link between the kitchen and dining room, ensuring food is delivered accurately, efficiently, and with care. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being on their feet, and takes pride in creating smooth, memorable dining experiences for guests. Key Responsibilities Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and professionally. Ensure dishes meet presentation and quality standards before leaving the kitchen. Communicate clearly with kitchen and service teams to maintain an efficient flow of service. Assist servers with table maintenance, including clearing and resetting tables. Provide friendly and professional interactions with guests while delivering food. Support the cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace standards. Assist other team members as needed to provide an exceptional guest experience. Qualifications Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and willingness to jump in and support the team. Strong attention to detail and pride in quality and presentation. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely carry food trays. Ability to maintain a sense of urgency while providing quality service.
