Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a passion for food service and hospitality. Duties Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including clearing dishes and ensuring that all surfaces are tidy. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure seamless service flow. Help with food handling duties, ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed. Assist in restocking supplies as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen and dining area. Experience Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety standards is beneficial. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with team members and guests. A background in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus, showcasing your ability to work well under pressure.
