Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Manage cash handling, billing, and processing payments accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and billing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills during busy hours Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with food industry operations such as serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, and basic math for cash handling Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus to better understand menu items and food preparation processes Must have previous serving experience Washing Dishes is a must for most shifts.
