Event Banquet Server

Crystal Springs is seeking enthusiastic Banquet Servers to join one of North Jersey's highest-rated wedding and event destinations. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-energy hospitality team delivering exceptional guest experiences at luxury events. Responsibilities of the Banquet Server position consist of, but are not limited to: Assist the Banquet Manager in serving guests during banquet functions to ensure a positive guest experience Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner Set up banquet rooms as instructed by the Supervisor, including linen, service ware, and glassware Serve food and/or beverages in the order and standards directed by the Supervisor to ensure consistency throughout the event Promptly remove dishes as guests complete each course and at the end of the meal or function Abide by all State, Federal, and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction Reset banquet rooms after events according to Supervisor specifications to ensure readiness for the next function Perform any other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements of Banquet Server:

Previous banquet experience preferred Must be a team player Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware is a plus Ability to remember, recite, and promote menu items Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift Ability to stand for long periods of time Must be able to communicate in English with guests in a professional and courteous manner Enjoy Crystal Springs Employee Perks!
