Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Banquet Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service during events and ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with experience in banquet service, catering, and guest relations. Duties Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner. Assist with the preparation and presentation of food items, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Buss tables promptly after guests have finished dining to maintain cleanliness and organization. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction throughout the event. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service operations. Follow all safety and sanitation policies while handling food and beverages. Assist in the breakdown of events, including cleaning up and returning equipment to designated areas. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus. Strong guest service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Familiarity with banquet service procedures and catering operations is highly desirable. Ability to handle food safely and adhere to health regulations. Excellent communication skills for effective guest interactions. Experience in bussing, serving, or restaurant environments is beneficial.
