Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes, drinks, and specials to enhance the dining experience Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all customer preferences are captured correctly Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating beverage service expertise Upsell menu items and suggest wine pairings or specialty drinks to increase sales and guest satisfaction Process cash and card transactions accurately while handling cash handling responsibilities with integrity Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly to uphold guest relations Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with culinary arts or kitchen operations is a plus but not required Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase sales potential Join us if you're passionate about hospitality!
