Broken English is a nomadic sanctuary for the like-minded — a community-driven lounge redefining what residency and hospitality feel like. We're looking for a Server who brings genuine warmth, sharp instincts, and a love for creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced, upscale setting.

Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests, providing attentive, knowledgeable service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders, including cocktail and wine recommendations Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely, accurate order delivery Maintain full knowledge of the menu, specials, and ingredients (including allergy awareness) Process payments accurately using the POS system Uphold cleanliness and presentation standards for tables, service areas, and dining room Build rapport with regulars and first-time guests alike to support repeat business Work collaboratively with the FOH team during high-volume service

Skills & Qualifications:

Prior serving experience in a bar, lounge, or upscale dining environment preferred Strong communication and multitasking abilities Comfortable working evenings/nights, including weekends Basic cocktail and wine knowledge a plus Positive, guest-first attitude with a polished, professional presence Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs Team player who thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere
