This role assists with guest service, order taking, food and beverage service, cleanliness, restocking, and teamwork throughout the restaurant. Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service. Take customer orders accurately and communicate special requests to the appropriate team members. Assist with preparing and serving food and beverages according to established procedures. Deliver completed orders promptly and courteously. Ensure customer orders are accurate, complete, and properly presented. Answer guest questions about menu items, ingredients, and available options. Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer payments as needed. Clear and reset tables while maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment. Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces. Restock food items, beverages, utensils, napkins, packaging, and other service supplies. Assist kitchen and front-of-house teams during busy service periods. Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures. Help maintain consistent food presentation, order accuracy, and service quality. Communicate customer concerns, special requests, supply needs, and service issues to supervisors. Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties. Help organize supplies and maintain efficient service stations. Work collaboratively with coworkers to support smooth daily restaurant operations. Perform other restaurant service and customer support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Good attention to detail and order accuracy. Willingness to learn menu items, restaurant procedures, and service standards. Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety practices. Reliable, punctual, and responsible work habits.
