Duties Greet guests warmly as they arrive, manage wait lists, and seat patrons efficiently to optimize flow and guest satisfaction Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about menu items, specials, and wine pairings; upsell menu options to enhance guest experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash, credit card payments, and process tips with professionalism Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and food preparation tasks when needed to ensure smooth operations Uphold food safety standards and sanitation protocols in all aspects of service to ensure guest safety and compliance with health regulations Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor; ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, beverage service, and upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash safely Food industry knowledge including food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest relations and creating welcoming atmospheres Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm fuels memorable dining moments.
