Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong guest relations skills and have a passion for the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service in a fine dining environment while ensuring guest satisfaction. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, including Aloha POS, and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently. Provide detailed menu information, including specials and recommendations, to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining attention to detail and presentation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring all payments are processed correctly. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns or special requests. Participate in food preparation as needed to support the kitchen team during busy periods. Uphold all health and safety regulations within the restaurant. Requirements Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required. Strong guest relations skills with an ability to interact positively with diverse clientele. Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for processing transactions. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds as needed.
