Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are highly valued. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards. Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed. Address guest inquiries promptly, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction and positive guest relations. Support other restaurant operations such as host/hostess duties or food preparation as required. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy. Experience with food industry operations such as serving, bussing, hosting/hosting duties, or kitchen support is advantageous.
