Located on the Hudson River at the James Newbury Hotel, we're revamping the restaurant under new management with a renewed focus on great food, genuine hospitality, and creating an experience our guests are excited to come back to. From the food we serve to the way every guest is welcomed and cared for, we're raising the standard across the restaurant and building a team that takes pride in being part of that growth. We're looking for Servers / Waitstaff who are dependable, hardworking, and genuinely enjoy taking care of people. The right person is someone who can multitask during a busy service, communicate well with both guests and teammates, pay attention to the little details, and bring a positive attitude to every shift. Responsibilities Provide warm, genuine, and attentive hospitality to every guest Take food and beverage orders accurately and confidently answer menu questions and make recommendations Anticipate guest needs and manage multiple tables efficiently throughout service Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a high standard of service Communicate and work closely with the kitchen, bar, and fellow team members Maintain clean, organized tables, dining areas, and service stations Complete opening, closing, and side work while jumping in to support the team wherever needed What We're Looking For Genuine hospitality — You enjoy taking care of people and making guests feel welcome Dependability — You show up on time, prepared, and ready to contribute to the team Strong multitasking skills — You can manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail Teamwork — You communicate, help others, and understand that great service requires the entire restaurant working together Positive attitude — You remain friendly, professional, and composed, even during a busy rush Sense of urgency — You move with purpose and understand the importance of timely, attentive service Accountability — You take ownership of your responsibilities and follow through Attention to detail — You notice the small things that can turn good service into a great guest experience Willingness to learn — You're open to feedback, training, and continuously improving Previous restaurant or serving experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person who brings the right attitude, work ethic, and commitment to hospitality.
