Duties Safely transport prepared food and beverages from the kitchen to tables or designated areas, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning and sanitizing service stations, utensils, and dining areas regularly. Clear and bus tables efficiently, removing used dishes and silverware to keep dining spaces tidy and inviting. Support host/hostess duties by greeting guests warmly, managing waitlists, and guiding guests to their tables with excellent in-person customer service skills. Handle order taking using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately and efficiently. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service and address guest needs promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant environment, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Ability to perform basic math calculations for order accuracy and cash handling tasks. Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed. Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting moderate loads throughout shifts in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of beverage preparation, dishwashing procedures, or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
