Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated
FULL TIME
Server to join our vibrant food and beverage team. As a key member of our restaurant, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and satisfied. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for detail, ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable dining experience. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems. Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary needs are clearly communicated to the kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales, utilizing knowledge of the menu and current promotions. Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, process payments, and provide correct change while adhering to cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Manage reservations using OpenTable or similar booking platforms to optimize seating flow during peak hours. Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations. Experience Previous experience working in food service or restaurant environments is a MUST. Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems. Experience in serving roles with a focus on guest services, upselling techniques, and cash handling is desirable. Culinary knowledge or culinary experience can enhance your ability to communicate effectively about menu items. Strong time management skills are essential for balancing multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts. Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and food preparation practices is important for maintaining high-quality service standards. Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly demeanor will help foster positive guest relationships and teamwork within the restaurant environment.
