Job Description

Server - Japanese Casual Dining AP Ramen | Port Washington, NY Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Server to join our front-of-house team. As a primary point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for providing attentive service, explaining our specialized ramen menu, and maintaining a high standard of hospitality in a fast-paced environment. Students welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent table service with a focus on "Omotenashi" (Japanese-style hospitality). Guide guests through our menu, including signature broths and AP Ramen options. Efficiently manage orders and payments using our POS system. Maintain a clean and organized dining area to ensure a premium guest experience. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant or customer service role is preferred. Proficiency with digital POS systems and handheld ordering tablets. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Reliable availability for scheduled shifts. A genuine interest in Japanese culinary culture and ramen.
