Overview Join our vibrant and dynamic music school as an Assistant Director at the Bach to Rock music school in Port Washington, where your passion for the arts and dedication to youth development will inspire countless students. In this role, you will collaborate with the Director to oversee daily operations, provide stellar customer service, collaborate in various marketing campaigns, and ensure a nurturing environment for learners of all ages. Your energetic leadership will help foster a creative community that celebrates musical education, development, and the performing arts. Duties Assist in maintaining the operations and management of the school. Coordinate scheduling of classes, workshops, and youth programs to maximize participation and resource utilization. Support instructors in maintaining high standards of classroom management and student engagement. Foster a positive environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and personal growth among students of all skill levels. Help organize special events such as recitals, exhibitions, performances, or community showcases that highlight student achievements. Assist in content creation, light social media posting, and promotional campaigns. Skills Proven experience in leadership and customer service roles. Strong organizational skills with the ability to positively contribute to a motivating learning environment. Experience in working with children and youth programs is a plus. Knowledge of working with diverse student populations including adults and children with varying learning needs is a plus. Basic social media posting experience is a plus (Instagram, Facebook). Basic content editing skills is a plus (i.e. Canva, Capcut, or others). Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, parents, and community partners.
