We are seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Server to join our team at a contemporary American restaurant. The ideal candidate is professional, attentive, knowledgeable, and comfortable providing polished service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to every guest. Demonstrate strong knowledge of the food, wine, cocktail, and beverage menus. Clearly explain ingredients, preparation methods, daily specials, and menu changes. Take accurate orders and communicate allergies and dietary restrictions properly. Guide guests through the menu and make thoughtful food and beverage recommendations. Maintain proper table service, including coursing, clearing, resetting, and monitoring guest needs. Work closely with bartenders, runners, bussers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections and service stations. Follow all restaurant service standards, food-safety procedures, and opening/closing duties. Handle guest concerns professionally and communicate issues to management when necessary. Qualifications Previous serving experience in a full-service restaurant preferred. Contemporary American, upscale casual, or fine-dining experience is a plus. Strong communication and guest-service skills. Basic knowledge of wine, cocktails, spirits, and food terminology. Ability to multitask and remain composed during busy service. Professional appearance and positive team-oriented attitude. Must be dependable, punctual, and available for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
