Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Server to join our team at Friendly's. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests
- Enter orders into the POS system (e.g., Revel POS) for accurate billing
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns or special requests
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed
- Clear and clean tables after guests have finished dining
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Provide excellent customer service by anticipating guest needs and offering recommendations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus
- Strong math skills for accurately handling payments and making change
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
