Responsibilities Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event. Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper handling techniques. Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth food preparation and service. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest relations. Assist in the breakdown of events, including cleaning up and resetting banquet areas for future use. Maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure during busy events. Qualifications Previous experience in the food service industry, particularly in banquet or catering settings, is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and culinary techniques is essential. Experience in restaurant or hotel environments is a plus. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when needed. Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
