Job Description

Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Server, Hostess, Busser, and Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. This dynamic role combines hospitality, food service, and guest relations to ensure every visitor feels welcomed, attended to, and delighted. Whether greeting guests at the door, serving delectable dishes with finesse, or supporting the kitchen and dining room operations, you'll be at the heart of our lively restaurant environment. Paid positions available for all roles, offering opportunities to grow your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Duties Greet guests warmly as a Hostess or Host, managing reservations through OpenTable and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times. Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally as a Server or Food Runner, ensuring presentation standards are met while maintaining food safety and sanitation protocols. Support the dining experience by bussing tables efficiently, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to uphold sanitation standards. Assist in food preparation or kitchen support when needed, demonstrating culinary experience and understanding of food handling procedures. Manage cash handling responsibilities with basic math skills during cashiering duties; process payments accurately while providing excellent guest service. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse guests. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while demonstrating strong time management skills. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess roles or food running enhances your candidacy; culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial. Basic math proficiency for cashiering tasks; ability to upsell menu items confidently to boost sales. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a hospitality environment.
