Sushi by Bou is a modern omakase concept defined by intimate settings, thoughtful design and an energetic atmosphere. As we expand, we are looking for talented hospitality professionals to join our team and grow with us. Position Overview The Service Captain leads the execution of service, maintaining standards, supporting the team and helping shape the guest experience throughout each seating. The ideal candidate leads with confidence, remains highly aware of the room and brings consistency and sound judgment to every shift. Pay Hourly plus tips. Additional Captain pay is provided for shifts worked in the role. Responsibilities Model company service standards and reinforce consistency throughout each seating. Maintain an active presence and respond thoughtfully to guest needs or concerns. Monitor the pace and sequence of service and make adjustments when needed. Keep chefs and frontofhouse team members aligned on timing, allergies and special requests. Provide realtime guidance and support during service. Contribute to preparation, training and team feedback. Ensure guestfacing areas and service stations remain ready and organized. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a finedining or upscale restaurant, including experience leading or coordinating service. Strong knowledge of service standards, pacing and sequence. Ability to guide others clearly and constructively. Decisive, observant and comfortable engaging with guests. Excellent organization and attention to detail. Ability to anticipate service needs and remain composed throughout the shift. Handson and teamfocused leadership style. Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
