In this fast-paced role, you will serve as the vital link between the kitchen and front-of-house service, ensuring that food is prepared, expedited, and delivered efficiently to provide an exceptional dining experience. Duties Assist kitchen staff with food preparation, plating, and portioning to ensure dishes meet quality standards Expedite food orders by communicating effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to prioritize and coordinate meal delivery Retrieve completed orders from the kitchen and deliver them promptly to designated tables or service stations Support food safety protocols by handling dishes properly, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to hygiene standards Buss tables and clear used dishes, utensils, and linens efficiently to keep dining areas tidy and organized Communicate clearly with kitchen staff regarding special requests, dietary restrictions, or order modifications Manage food handling tasks with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and presentation Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality preferred Strong communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff and front-of-house team Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work quickly in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus for processing orders or transactions Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously Experience in food expediting, banquet service, or culinary roles is advantageous Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform routine bussing duties Join us as a Food Expo/Runner and become an essential part of delivering memorable dining experiences!
