Food Runner

A Food Runner is responsible for delivering food and beverages from the kitchen to customers efficiently, accurately, and in a professional manner while supporting the waitstaff and maintaining a smooth dining experience.

Key Responsibilities Delivering Orders:

Transport food and drinks from the kitchen to the correct tables promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature for customer satisfaction.

Assisting Waitstaff:

Support servers by refilling drinks, bringing extra utensils, clearing tables, and helping maintain a smooth workflow during busy periods.

Order Accuracy:

Double-check orders before serving to ensure the correct items reach the right customers, including attention to special requests and dietary restrictions.

Table Preparation:

Set tables with appropriate tableware, utensils, napkins, and decorations before service, and assist with cleanup after service.

Customer Interaction:

Occasionally check on guests to address needs, explain menu items, and provide recommendations, enhancing the overall dining experience. Communication with

Kitchen Staff:

Act as a liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, relaying special requests, modifications, or feedback.

Maintaining Cleanliness:

Keep dining areas and service stations organized, adhering to health and safety standards. Skills and Qualifications Ability to working in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in extreme temperatures and high-pressure environments Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift/pull up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 55 lbs. Requires manual dexterity for equipment operation and the ability to perform repetitive motions, bending, climbing, and lifting Must possess full range of vision, hearing, and communication abilities
