Overview The Original Pancake House Strongsville and we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our front of house team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that every patron enjoys a memorable dining experience. Your ability to engage with guests, manage orders efficiently, and maintain high standards of food handling and sanitation will be key to your success in this role. Restaurant hours are 730am-2pm Sunday-Saturday and all applicants must have weekend availability. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Toast POS system. Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils. Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Process payments accurately and efficiently using OpenTable or other payment systems. Uphold all health and safety regulations within the food industry. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or nightclub setting is preferred. Familiarity with OpenTable and Toast POS systems is a plus. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards. Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on providing outstanding service. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A passion for culinary arts and sales is desirable.
