Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to ensure a positive dining experience or efficient takeout process Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled Process cash and credit card transactions smoothly, handling cash handling and sales transaction processing with precision Upsell menu items including cocktails, spirits, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Manage beverage service including cocktail preparation, wine service, drink presentation, and responsible alcohol service in compliance with liquor laws Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with food safety standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly Support guest relations by providing knowledgeable recommendations about menu items such as wine pairings or specialty cocktails Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to sanitation regulations and food safety protocols Skills Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Culinary experience or background in food preparation enhances ability to answer guest questions confidently Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or takeout orders efficiently during busy hours Sales skills including upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively Beverage knowledge including spirits, wine, cocktail mixing, and drink presentation techniques Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or casual settings is preferred; nightclub or hospitality experience is a plus Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining a friendly attitude Basic math skills for calculating bills and managing payments accurately Join us to be part of a lively team that values hospitality excellence!
