Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to enhance their experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items by recommending specials or pairing options to maximize sales and guest satisfaction Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments and issuing receipts Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including proper food handling and beverage service protocols Support team members through bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and assisting with food preparation when needed to ensure smooth operations Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally Culinary experience or food industry background that enhances your ability to describe dishes and recommend pairings Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor Join us if you're passionate about hospitality, eager to develop your skills in a vibrant environment, and dedicated to creating exceptional guest experiences!
