Duties Greet guests warmly and manage reservations with friendly professionalism using in-person customer service skills and phone etiquette. Escort guests to their tables, provide menus, and answer initial questions about the menu or restaurant offerings. Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness through diligent dishwashing and food handling. Assist in food preparation and delivery by running food from the kitchen to tables promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Buss tables by removing used dishes, refilling water glasses, and maintaining a tidy dining area to enhance guest comfort. Maintain food safety standards by following proper handling procedures and sanitation protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours. Requirements Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential! Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Experience with POS systems such as Toast is a plus. Familiarity with restaurant operations including bussing, serving, order taking, dishwashing, and meal preparation is beneficial. Ability to work flexible hours
