Duties:
Assists in the food preparation, set-up, serving, and clean up of a school kitchen, cafeteria, and other food service areas. Maintains the cleanliness of food service areas, utensils, and equipment.
Minimum qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of food service and cooking equipment as well as custodial duties. Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision. Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) and follow written and oral directions. Ability to work harmoniously with staff and students is a necessity. Good physical health and ability to perform manual labor. Physically able to perform essential job functions which include lifting 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, and carrying on a regular basis. Assignment is 5.5 hours per day / 5 days per week/10-month employee
Salary Range:
