In this role, you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining room, ensuring that food is delivered promptly, tables are maintained impeccably, and guests receive exceptional service. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable dining moments for every guest, supporting our commitment to excellence in hospitality. Duties/Pay $8.5/HR plus daily cash tips. Combined hourly & tips equates to $20 - $23 per hour. Safely transport food from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment. Assist servers with bussing duties, including removing used dishes and utensils promptly. Support food safety protocols by handling dishes and utensils with proper hygiene practices. Maintain cleanliness of service stations, floors, and dining areas through regular cleaning and organization. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely food delivery and table turnover. Assist with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes of supplies, or cleaning equipment following safe lifting practices. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred. Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper cleaning procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely. Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar for order accuracy when needed. Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, energetic attitude. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, and lifting.
