Alessandro's Enoteca | Bryn Mawr, PA Alessandro's Ventures Alessandro's Enoteca, the elevated Italian concept from Alessandro's Ventures, is looking for hardworking, hospitality-driven Runners and Bussers to join our team. Our Support Staff are an essential part of the guest experience. We're looking for people who move with purpose, pay attention to the details, communicate well, and understand that exceptional service requires the entire team working together. This is not just a position for clearing tables and running food. Our Support Staff are expected to learn our service standards, understand our food and beverage program, anticipate the needs of guests and servers, and play an active role in creating a polished dining experience.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The right candidate is positive, energetic, dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. You take pride in doing things the right way and understand that there is always something you can be doing to help the team. Our Support Staff are expected to: Learn and consistently execute Alessandro's established Steps of Service Run food accurately, confidently, and with knowledge of each dish Learn menu ingredients, preparations, allergens, and proper table presentation Develop foundational food, wine, and beverage knowledge Maintain proper table settings and reset tables quickly and precisely Clear, mark, crumb, water, and maintain tables throughout service Anticipate guest and server needs rather than waiting to be asked Communicate clearly with Servers, Captains, Bartenders, Chefs, and Managers Maintain awareness of the dining room and assist wherever needed Keep service stations clean, stocked, organized, and ready for service Work with urgency while remaining composed and professional Take direction and feedback positively Arrive prepared, punctual, polished, and ready to work Understand that great hospitality is a team effort and no task is beneath anyone
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in an upscale or high-volume environment, but attitude, work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn are equally important. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and should have a genuine interest in hospitality, food, wine, and professional restaurant service.
