Set up banquet areas with necessary supplies, including tableware, linens, and utensils, ensuring readiness for each event. Buss tables promptly during and after service to maintain a tidy environment and prepare for subsequent guests. Monitor guest needs throughout the event, responding quickly to requests for additional drinks or food items. Handle food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems to process orders accurately and manage beverage service with knowledge of wine and drink pairings. Skills Previous experience in the food industry or catering environments is highly preferred. Strong guest services skills with a focus on guest relations and customer satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling, serving techniques, and beverage service standards. Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for order processing. Experience in fine dining or banquet settings is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism.
