Greet guests warmly, provide menu recommendations, and ensure a positive dining experience from start to finish Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while managing multiple tables seamlessly Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of hospitality principles Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse situations professionally Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and bill splitting Culinary experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus for understanding menu items and dietary considerations Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is advantageous for adapting to different atmospheres Commitment to food safety practices including proper sanitation, food handling, and allergen awareness Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience while increasing sales revenue This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive in lively environments.
