POSITION PROFILE
Lancaster Country Club is looking to add 6-8 Server Assistants to our team. We are looking for 4 with lunch availability (10:30am-2:40pm, Tues-Fri & Sunday) and 2-4 with evening availability (4:45pm-9:30pm Tues-Thurs & Sunday). Our Server Assistants are vital in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our members and guests by supporting servers and ensuring dining areas are clean and organized. This positions assists with food delivery, table maintenance, beverage service, and dining room setup. We are looking for candidates that are team-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to creating memorable experiences for members & their guests.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY
Assist servers in providing prompt, attentive, and personalized service to members & guests. Escort members and guests to their tables, providing them with menus when they sit. Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth service. Refill water, coffee, and other beverages as requested. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining rooms, patios, service stations, and wait stations throughout each shift. Polish glassware, silverware, and other service items. Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining tables accurately & efficiently. Clear tables of dirty dishes and glassware to take back to the dishwasher. Reset tables with fresh tablemats, dishware, glassware, utensils and napkin. Respond promptly to member and guest requests in a friendly and professional manner. Assist with side work and opening/closing duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional service. Punctual and dependable with flexibility to assist with special events.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting. Regular ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs, with occasional need to lift or move up to 50lbs. Ability to safely navigate crowded dining rooms and kitchen areas while carrying food and beverages. Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor environments, including patios, pool areas, golf facilities, and banquet spaces.
Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
