Duties Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to guest tables efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper food handling and presentation standards are met. Clear and reset tables swiftly after guests leave, maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Assist with bussing duties by removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils while adhering to safe manual handling practices. Support the kitchen staff by performing light food preparation tasks as needed, such as garnishing or plating. Maintain cleanliness of service stations, floors, and dining areas through regular cleaning and sanitation. Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and guests to ensure smooth service flow. Handle guest inquiries courteously, providing excellent in-person customer service that enhances overall guest satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key! Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds), safe lifting practices, and prolonged standing or walking. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests. Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus for processing orders or payments when needed. Experience with bussing, serving, or food running roles enhances your ability to succeed in this position. A proactive attitude with a focus on guest services, hospitality excellence, and teamwork.
