Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Counter , where you will be the friendly face and efficient operator at our food service counter. This role is vital in delivering exceptional customer experiences by providing prompt service, and managing sales transactions with enthusiasm and professionalism. You'll play a key part in creating a welcoming environment, ensuring food safety standards are met, and supporting the overall flow of daily operations in a fast-paced, quick-service restaurant setting. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling items to enhance their experience Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Operate POS systems such as Square efficiently for order entry, payment processing, and cash handling Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and issuing receipts Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, food prep stations, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations Restocking supplies, make pizza boxes. Answering phone and taking order. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously Requirements Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or retail environments preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate Great in fast paced environments. Strong skills in food preparation, cashiering, and customer service are essential Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Experience with serving or bussing in a café or restaurant setting is advantageous Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering top-tier service!
