Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and energetic individuals to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runners, Expos, and Bussers play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers. Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Ensure that all food items are presented beautifully and meet our quality standards before serving. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any issues that may arise. Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area by bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Communicate effectively with servers regarding order status and any special requests from guests. Operate the Aloha POS system for order tracking when necessary. Provide exceptional hospitality by assisting guests with any needs or inquiries. Skills Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Understanding of food safety standards and practices to ensure a safe dining experience. Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail. Team-oriented mindset, willing to help colleagues in both front-of-house and kitchen operations. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is beneficial but not required.
