Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong background in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience. Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines throughout the service process. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred. Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous.
