Handle all cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, maintaining precise cash handling and math skills. Support front-of-house staff by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and managing sanitation to uphold food safety and cleanliness standards. Manage food safety protocols by adhering to sanitation guidelines and proper food handling procedures during service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food prep, ensuring orders are accurate and delivered efficiently. Use OpenTable for reservation management and guest seating arrangements, enhancing guest relations through attentive service. Upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service. Experience Experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles demonstrates strong guest relations skills. Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, sanitation, and basic math for cash handling is essential. Culinary experience or kitchen work background is a plus, supporting efficient food prep and service operations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality service standards. Strong communication skills to work seamlessly with team members and ensure guest satisfaction at every touchpoint.
