Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Server and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! As a Server, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, guides them through their culinary journey, and ensures every visit is memorable. Your energy, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality will help create a lively, welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and cared for. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your customer service skills in a fast-paced, upscale environment that celebrates food, beverage, and guest satisfaction. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service. Present menus confidently, highlighting specials and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while managing openTable reservations when applicable. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation times and ensure timely delivery of orders. Assist with food handling, sanitation, and basic food preparation tasks as needed in support of the team. Promote a lively atmosphere by engaging with guests in a friendly manner, fostering guest relations, and encouraging repeat visits through excellent service. Support other restaurant operations such as host/host duties or nightclub service during busy periods. Requirements (NEEDS TO BE Bilingual) Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable reservations management is advantageous. Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming environment. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience working in hospitality settings such as nightclubs or high-end restaurants is desirable. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule.
