Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions about food, beverages, and specials with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card payments, and upselling techniques like wine pairing or specialty cocktails. Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar areas, and service stations; bus tables promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service. Assist with food safety practices, proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery in fine dining or casual settings. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing needs promptly and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Requirements Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is preferred; experience in fine dining or nightlife venues is a plus. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell beverages like spirits or wine confidently. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while demonstrating basic math skills. Familiarity with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining quality service. Culinary experience or understanding of food preparation is advantageous; knowledge of sanitation standards is essential. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or nightclubs as required; physical stamina for standing and moving throughout shifts. This position is evenings only. We are closed every Monday. Weekend availablility is required.
